On a bright afternoon in Hanoi, our guests Mariane, Paul, and Catharina joined a small and friendly group to experience the authentic charm of the Old Quarter. Led by our enthusiastic guide Chris (Dzung), the journey quickly became more than just a sightseeing walk — it turned into a cultural adventure filled with stories, laughter, and memorable moments.
The tour began near The Statue of the Fallen Heroes, where our guests learned about Vietnam’s history and the spirit of the city. From there, the group walked toward the peaceful Ngoc Son Temple and crossed the famous red The Huc Bridge, one of the most photographed spots in Hanoi.

As the walk continued deeper into the Old Quarter, the group explored the lively Ta Hien Street, well known as Hanoi’s famous Beer Street. Even during the daytime, the energy of the street reflects the vibrant lifestyle of the city.
Next, the guests visited O Quan Chuong, the historic Old City Gate that once protected the ancient capital. Walking through the narrow streets nearby, the group stopped by Thanh Ha Wet Market, where local vendors sell fresh ingredients and traditional foods.
The experience continued through the bustling atmosphere of Dong Xuan Market, the largest market in the Old Quarter. Here, visitors could truly feel the rhythm of everyday Hanoi life.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was reaching the legendary Long Bien Bridge, a historic iron bridge that has stood for over a century. Standing together on the bridge, our guests enjoyed spectacular views of the Red River while capturing joyful photos and videos to remember their journey.
Moments like these show why every Hanoi walking tour becomes a unique story. Walking with local guides allows travelers to see the city beyond the typical tourist routes and connect with the authentic spirit of Hanoi.
