What we collect

When you book a tour or contact us we may collect:

• Your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number.
• Booking details such as date, group size, hotel pickup point, and any dietary or accessibility notes you share.
• Messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, or web form.
• Consent-based analytics events such as page views, opening or completing the booking form, and clicks on WhatsApp or email links.

How we use it

We use this information only to:

• Confirm and run the tour you booked.
• Reply to your questions and send day-of meeting details.
• Improve the website and our tours.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

Who sees it

Your details are shared only with the guide assigned to your tour and, where relevant, with third-party booking platforms you choose to book through (such as GetYourGuide, Viator, or TripAdvisor). Those platforms handle your data under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the tour and meet basic tax and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will, except where we are required by law to retain it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email realfreewalkingtourshanoi@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Google Analytics 4

If you select “Allow analytics”, this site uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-K5C542354D. We send the first pathname in your session, the current pathname, page-view events, and limited conversion event names. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain denied.

Analytics events do not include query strings, form values, names, email addresses, WhatsApp numbers, message text, booking dates, or special requests. A tour name may be included for booking events when it matches one of our published tours.

Analytics consent and cookies

Google Analytics is not loaded before you allow analytics. Your choice is stored first-party and does not affect reading the site, opening the booking form, submitting a booking request, or contacting us. If you continue without analytics, analytics events are not sent.

Changes

If we update this policy we will change the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page.
