GARLIC BREAD

Preheat the barbecue. Combine the garlic, butter and parsley in a dish until well combined. Season with pepper to taste and mix well.
Make several lengthways cuts in the bread but be careful not to cut all the way through. Put the flavoured butter inside the cuts and place the loaf on a large sheet of foil.
Wrap the bread in the foil, sealing the edges well to enclose completely. Cook over hot coals for 10-15 minutes, until the butter melts and the bread is piping hot. Serve immediately.

150 g/5 1/2 oz butter, softened
3 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 large or 2 small sticks
of French bread
pepper
