According to data released by the National Tourism Administration this morning, more than 1.23 million international tourists visited Vietnam in November, reflecting an 11% growth compared to the previous month and establishing it as the peak month for international arrivals so far this year. Nevertheless, this number is 68% lower than the figures in November 2019, prior to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. The total number of international visitors reached over 11.2 million in the first 11 months, exceeding the annual target set at the beginning of the year by 40%, but still trailing behind by 62% compared to the same period in 2019.
