Chicken Porridge

Ingredients 
  • 1000g chicken
  • 150g good quality ordinary rice (washed)
  • 100g sticky rice (washed)
  • 300g pork bone
    To taste: Spring onion, coriander, lemon leaves, seasoning (salt and MSG) and pepper




 

Steps to cook chicken porridge

Preparation
  • Wash the chicken well and boil in water. When cooked remove from the stock, cut off the meat and shred.
  • Wash and parboil the pork bones, wash again, and add to the chicken stock with the chicken bones, simmer to make broth.
  • Mix the ordinary and sticky rice and put into the broth. When the porridge is cooked add seasoning to taste.
  • Wash and finely chop the spring onion and the coriander and wash the lemon leaves before cutting into long, thin strips.
  • Place the spring onion into a bowl, ladle in the porridge, add the chicken on top and scatter with pepper, coriander and lemon leaves.
    Serve hot
